Privacy Statement

Who we are

132hiring is a product of 132 ENG Inc., a company registered in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You can reach us at info@132eng.com.

The short version

We do not collect, store, process, or retain any candidate data. Resumes and job postings are processed entirely in your browser. We never see them. When you close the tab, the data is gone. There is nothing for us to breach, subpoena, or sell.

What data we collect

Account data: When you sign up, we store your email address and a hashed password through our authentication provider (Supabase). This is the only personal data we store.

Payment data: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe provides us with your subscription status and a customer identifier.

Candidate data: None. We do not collect, transmit, store, cache, log, or retain any resume text, job posting text, evaluation results, or PDF reports on our servers. This data exists only in your browser's memory during your session.

How evaluation works

When you run an evaluation, the following happens:

1. Your browser reads the job posting and resume files locally.

2. Your browser constructs an evaluation prompt from the text.

3. Your browser sends that prompt directly to your chosen AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI) using your API key.

4. The AI provider returns the evaluation, which your browser renders on screen.

5. PDF reports and Excel files are generated client-side in your browser.

At no point does candidate data pass through 132hiring servers. The connection is directly between your browser and your AI provider.

Your AI provider's data handling

When you use 132hiring, resume and job posting text is sent to whichever AI provider you have configured, according to their terms of service and privacy policy. We encourage you to review your provider's data handling practices. 132hiring has no control over how your AI provider processes, stores, or retains the data you send through their API.

API keys

Your API key is stored in your browser's local storage. It is never sent to 132hiring servers. It is sent only to your chosen AI provider for authentication. We recommend using API keys with spending limits enabled at your provider.

Cookies and tracking

We use a session cookie for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics that identify individual users. We do not sell data to third parties because we do not have data to sell.

Canadian privacy law

132 ENG Inc. operates under Canadian federal and Alberta provincial privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Our architecture is designed so that personal information of job candidates is never in our possession or control.

Data retention

Account data: Retained while your account is active. You can request account deletion by emailing info@132eng.com.

Candidate data: Not applicable. We never possess it. When your browser session ends, the data ceases to exist. There is no server-side copy to delete.

Children

132hiring is a business tool intended for hiring professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this statement

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the application. Continued use of 132hiring after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated statement.
